Spring!

The last two years winters in Austin have included snow days. To say that snowfall this far south in Texas is rare is a bit of an understatement. (The occasional ice "storm" is another matter...) So, when we experienced a mild winter this year Reese began pelting us with complaints about the lack of snow. In her short life it's been a "regular" part of her winter experience, even if for just one day. Poor Paige will have to wait another year to see if we get snow again, but for now everything has been forgiven because the spring weather has allowed us to spend lots of extra time outside. We've already broken the 90 degree mark this year which has me a little worried about what temperatures summer may bring, but the girls have enjoyed the opportunity to dive into their water play already.
