Swimming Lessons

We've decided to take a two month haitus from dance class so Reese can take swimming lessons instead. Last week was her first lesson and she was VERY excited. The best part? She got a pair of goggles! Pink, of course. She insists on putting them on by herself, which usually results in this stunning look:

Her swimming lesson went well. It turns out there were only four kids registered in her "non-swimmers" level class and one was a no-show. So, it's just Reese and two five year old boys. I can tell she's a little intimidated by the boys since they have no fear of dunking their entire faces in the water, but maybe their confidence will rub off on her.

We're signed up for two months of lessons (twice a week) in hopes that by the time the pool opens for the summer she'll be able to do some basic swimming on her own. She seems to think she'll have the hang of it in just "one more lesson or so."
